Parallel to the possibility of training in tailoring, which are used especially by girls claimed, boys can do an apprenticeship as a carpenter in the parish's own carpentry.

Various pieces of furniture such as beds, chairs and table, but also windows and doors to the newly built church, the parish center and homes and schools are made by the apprentices.

Actions financed by Advent were purchased four years ago combined cutting and planing machines. This year, large Tischerleimaschienen now be transported with the auxiliary container to Rwanda.

Together with our team, Pastor Jacques and the leaders of the workshop, a special education plan was developed:

  1. Carpentry work with simple tools! The apprentices will later in their villages, where there is usually no electricity, can be hand-worked.

Thanks to Thomas Pänitsch in December 2008 started a new training for two locksmiths. Within 3 weeks of 8 young men were able to breathe with the engineer in the world of welding and metal working inside. The concept for a complete training to locksmith is still in preparation.
